Refund Policy
At Kullu Manali Visit (Rent a Motorbike), we strive to provide a fair and transparent refund process to accommodate changes in your plans. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds are issued for bike rental bookings. Please review it carefully before making a reservation.
1. Cancellation by the Renter
We understand that plans may change. Refunds for cancellations depend on the timing of your request:
- Cancellations 48 Hours or More Before Rental Start Date:
Eligible for a full refund of the rental fee and any security deposit paid.
- Cancellations 24–48 Hours Before Rental Start Date:
Eligible for a 50% refund of the rental fee. The security deposit, if applicable, will be fully refunded.
- Cancellations Less Than 24 Hours Before Rental Start Date:
No refund will be issued for the rental fee. The security deposit, if applicable, will be fully refunded, provided no rental has commenced.
- No-Show:
If you fail to pick up the bike at the scheduled time and location without prior notice, no refund will be issued for the rental fee. The security deposit, if applicable, will be refunded in full.
2. Security Deposit Refunds
- The security deposit is refundable upon return of the bike, subject to inspection.
- Refunds will be issued only after verifying that the bike is returned in the same condition as provided, with no damage, missing parts, or unpaid fines.
- Any deductions for damages, late return fees, or other violations will be communicated to you at the time of return.
3. Early Returns
- If you return the bike before the agreed-upon rental period ends, no refund will be issued for the unused portion of the rental fee, unless explicitly agreed upon at the time of booking.
4. Cancellations by Kullu Manali Visit
- In the rare event that we need to cancel your booking (e.g., due to bike unavailability or unforeseen circumstances), you will receive a full refund of the rental fee and security deposit.
- We will notify you as soon as possible and work to provide alternative solutions, such as rescheduling or offering a different bike model, if available.
5. Refund Processing
- Refunds, when applicable, will be processed within 5–7 business days from the date of cancellation or bike return.
- The refund will be credited to the original payment method used during booking (e.g., credit/debit card, bank transfer).
- Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
6. Non-Refundable Charges
- Delivery charges (if applicable) for bike drop-off or pickup are non-refundable once the service has been provided.
- Extension charges for late returns or additional rental periods are non-refundable.
7. Disputes and Exceptions
- If you believe a refund was incorrectly denied or calculated, please contact us with your booking details, and we will review your case.
- Exceptions to this policy may be considered in extraordinary circumstances (e.g., medical emergencies), at the discretion of Kullu Manali Visit. Supporting documentation may be required.
