Terms and Conditions

    Welcome to Kullu Manali Visit (Rent a Motorbike). By renting a bike from us, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before booking.


    1. Rental Eligibility

    • Renters must be at least 18 years of age.
    • A valid driving license is mandatory and must be presented at the time of booking.
    • A government-issued identification (e.g., passport, Aadhaar, or other ID) is required for verification purposes.
    • Non-Indian nationals must provide a valid passport and, if applicable, a visa.

    2. Booking & Cancellation Rule

    • To confirm your booking, you must pay an advance amount equal to at least one day’s rent of the bike you have selected.
    • Advance payment is refundable only if you cancel at least one day before your pickup date.
    • If you cancel on the pickup day, do not come, or do not collect the bike before 11:00 AM, the booking will be cancelled, and the advance will not be refunded.
    Example - If your pickup date is 10 June:
    • Cancel on 9 June or earlier → Refund available
    • Cancel on 10 June or come after 10 AM → No refund

    3. Payments & Cancellations

    • Deposits: A security deposit is required and will be refunded upon the safe, undamaged return of the bike.
    • Cancellations: Rental fees are non-refundable for no-shows or cancellations within 24 hours of pickup. (Deposits remain fully refundable if the bike is not taken).
    • Extra Fees: Standard charges apply for exceeding daily kilometer limits or outstation travel.

    4. Rental Period

    • The bike must be returned by the agreed-upon date and time specified in the rental agreement.
    • Early returns do not qualify for refunds unless explicitly stated.
    • Late returns will incur additional charges.

    5. Daily Usage Limit

    • Daily usage limit for Scooter is 120 km per rental day.
      Example: 1 day = 120 km | 3 days = 360 km
    • Daily usage limit for Motorbike is 130 km per rental day.
      Example: 1 day = 130 km | 3 days = 390 km
    • Extra distance beyond the limit will be charged at ₹8 per km.
    • Outstation trips may require additional security deposit, depending on location and distance.

    6. General Requirements & Safety

    • Documentation & Safety: A valid driving licence and matching photo ID are required. Helmets, proper gear, and adherence to all traffic laws are mandatory.
    • Renter Responsibility: You are fully responsible for the motorcycle's care, as well as any fines, damages, or accidents incurred during your rental.

    7. Bike Condition and Maintenance

    • Renters must inspect the bike upon delivery and report any pre-existing damage to the agency immediately.
    • The renter is responsible for any damage caused to the bike during the rental period due to negligence or misuse.
    • Any mechanical issues or breakdowns must be reported to the rental agency immediately at +919816320080.
    • Unauthorized repairs or modifications to the bike are strictly prohibited.

    8. Vehicle Care & Liability

    • Damages & Negligence: Renters bear all costs for theft, lost keys/parts, accident repairs, and mechanical failures caused by negligence (e.g., clutch abuse, overheating). Minor punctures are your responsibility.
    • Reporting Issues: All mechanical issues or accidents must be reported immediately. The rental period is active until the bike is repaired or returned.

    9. Weight Limit for Mountain Riding

    • Weight Limit: Maximum permissible load (riders + luggage) is 150 kg. Renters will be charged for mechanical damages caused by overloading.
    • Extreme Conditions: Himalayan routes involve rough terrain, high altitudes, and unpredictable weather. The rental company is not liable for delays, cancellations, or extra costs due to road closures or weather.

    10. Prohibited Activities

    The motorcycle must never be used for:

    • Stunt riding, wheelies, racing, or competitive events.
    • Riding under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
    • Crossing district/state borders without prior approval.
    • Transporting illegal goods or carrying more than the legal passenger limit.

    11. Delivery and Pickup

    • Bike delivery to hotels or specific locations in Manali is available upon request, subject to a delivery charge based on the location.
    • Renters must pick up and return the bike at the agreed-upon time and location.
    • Late returns may incur additional charges as per the agency's policy.

    12. Liability and Insurance

    • The renter is solely responsible for any fines, penalties, or damages incurred during the rental period.
    • Kullu Manali Visit (Rent a Motorbike) is not liable for accidents, injuries, or damages to third parties caused by the renter.
    • The rental agency does not provide insurance coverage for accidents, injuries, or damages. Renters are encouraged to secure their own insurance if desired.
    • In case of theft or total loss of the bike, the renter may be liable for the full replacement cost, as determined by the agency.

    13. Assumption of Risk

    Motorcycle travel in the Himalayas involves inherent natural and physical risks, including property damage, injury, or death. By accepting the motorcycle, you voluntarily assume all risks and agree that the rental company holds no liability for injuries, losses, or trip delays.

    14. Termination of Rental

    • Kullu Manali Visit (Rent a Motorbike) reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement and repossess the bike if the renter violates these terms or engages in unsafe or illegal behavior.
    • No refunds will be issued in case of termination due to non-compliance.

    15. Privacy and Data Protection

    • We collect personal information (e.g., name, contact details, ID, payment information) to process bookings and verify identity.
    • Your data is protected with appropriate security measures and will not be shared with third parties, except as required by law.

    16. Governing Law

    • These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of India.
    • Any disputes arising from the rental agreement will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Manali, District Kullu, Himachal Pradesh.

    17. Acknowledgment

    By renting a bike from Kullu Manali Visit (Rent a Motorbike), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. A signed acknowledgment may be required at the time of booking.
